Baltic Sea 2024

This year I was finally able to accompany Ingo Oppelt and Reinhard Öser on their tour to the Baltic Sea. I had been trying to get one of the prestigious seats on board for years and now it finally worked. We started our week-long diving expedition on the tall ship Ryvar in Rostock. In total we were 27 divers plus two ship crew and cook Willi.
The trip went into Danish waters and we dived six wrecks, all of which I was able to scan.

  1. Hello, interesting reading about Paddle Steamer Express I. Express III arrived to Sweden, first to the island Hasslö and then to Kuggeboda around may 10, 1945 with 159 german military men onboard. The men were sent to Germany and the ship were picked up and towed to Sovjetunion in september 1945.
I am living in Kuggeboda and have for a long time been searching for information about Express III and this text from you and related news paper articles are first information i have found. Thank you for that.
