Built in 1927. The very cute and pretty wreck of the 24m long Motor Ewer lies in Danish Waters (little Belt) in 34m water depth. I dived and scanned it in May 2026 during out MarineResearchGermany trip.

Course of the Accident: The accident of the MV META MARIE occurred on March 26, 1932, in the southernmost part of the Little Belt (Sydligste Lillebælt), east of Gammel Pøl near Sydals, close to Sønderborg. The ship was en route from Harburg to Nyborg, carrying a cargo of 110 tons of coke. During an engine repair involving a blowtorch, a fire broke out, causing the vessel to sink.
