Cage and Barrel

Another strange construction on the Subic seabed. It is believed to originate from former U.S. naval or harbor operations when Subic Bay functioned as a major American military base. The exact original purpose of the structure remains unclear, but it may have been related to mooring, buoyancy, or dock support systems.
It is a type of platform, very sturdily constructed. It lies on its side and resembles a cage. A large barrel (14 x 5 m), similar to a mooring buoy. And a large box (18 x 5 m), which may have been a floating pontoon.
